When I decided to start my own marketing business here in Midcoast Maine, it wasn’t because I had dreams of building a flashy agency or chasing big city clients. It was because I saw something right here at home. A need. A gap. A whole community of small business owners pouring their hearts into their work, only to struggle when it came to reaching people online, telling their stories, or simply getting found on Google Maps.

I’ve always believed that small businesses are the soul of any community. The local hardware store that knows your name, the bakery that remembers your order, the landscaper who waves as they pass your house. These are the people I wanted to work with. The abundance of local small business is one of my favorite things about living in this area.

The Problem I Saw Over and Over Again

I talked to business owners who were overwhelmed trying to build their own websites. I saw beautiful shops and incredible services buried on page three of a Google search. I heard from folks who had paid way too much for marketing help that didn’t deliver. Time and again, I saw small businesses being overlooked, under-supported, or priced out of the help they needed to grow.

It didn’t sit right with me.

So I Built a Business Around Affordability and Trust

That’s when I decided to start my own company, Midcoast Marketing Services. I wanted to offer professional, reliable, and genuinely helpful marketing support to the kinds of businesses that are often left behind by big agencies. That meant making things affordable. It meant being honest and clear in my pricing. I will tell you exactly what you need to meet your goals, and won’t sell you on things you don’t. And it meant actually listening, taking the time to understand each business and what makes them special.

From website design and hosting, to SEO, blog writing, and digital marketing, everything I offer is designed to be accessible and effective. No fluff, no overpriced packages, no one-size-fits-all solutions.

Rooted in the Midcoast Community

Midcoast Maine isn’t just where I work, it’s home. I care about the businesses here because I live here. When I help a local shop owner bring in more foot traffic, or an artist start getting calls through their new website, I know it’s making a real difference. That’s the kind of impact I want to have. That’s the kind of work that matters to me.

This business is my way of giving back to my community, supporting the people who make this place so unique.

Let’s Grow Together

If you’re a small business owner in Midcoast Maine who’s tired of trying to do it all yourself, or just looking for a marketing partner who gets it, let’s grab a coffee! You don’t need a massive budget to make meaningful progress. You just need someone who’s in your corner, who knows the ropes, and who wants to see you succeed.
